It's Okay/Connecting Up Class- Some of MaryEllen Hopkins' techniques plus many simple steps that we have come up with to make your quilt making easier and more accurate.
Simple Shapes Make Beautiful Quilts with Anne Gallo and Susan Raban. This class teaches how to make the many simple shapes that lead to beautiful quilts. We'll teach you to piece stars, pinwheels, flying geese and more using very simple techniques. You can take these shapes and make a wall hanging or just use them as ideas to make other quilts.
Braid Class- Braids as quilts and braids as borders are easy to piece, but there are a few simple rules that make the construction so much easier. After you learn these rules, there are 7 more braid quilts that we have designed. This class will NOT be a finished quilt but samples of 8 quilts that you can make over and over again.
Improve your machine-piecing technique- Many basic tips on improving your skills as a machine piecer, things they never taught you in home-ec.
Tools of the Trade- Rulers, triangles, tri-rec, companion angles, shapecuts, what are these? Which cutter and which mat? We will bring all the equipment except the sewing machines, we'll teach you how to use it all.
Rail and Squares- For the beginner who has no idea how to take simple blocks and make them into terrific quilts. Learn a few simple rules and techniques and then make lots of quilts.
Pinwheels- There is a wide variety of pinwheels that make terrific quilts and wallhangings. Learn simple piecing techniques, change sizes and do some simple geometry.
