October 19th Sunday, 9am – 4pm – Tools workshop with the Great South Bay Quilters Guild, Long Island, New York. Students will work with the half square triangle, the quarter square triangle, the bias triangle, the half rectangle and the kaleidoscope rulers. The quilts made from these tools include the Titanic Star, the Quarter Square Star, the Nantucket Sailboats, the Kaleidoscope Quilt and the Framed Squares. October 20th Monday, 9am-3:30pm – Batik Wedding Quilt workshop with the Great South Bay Quilters Guild, Long Island, New York. This is a relaxing and fun workshop. See the picture with the class description on the website. This is a quilt that young people enjoy receiving and looks terrific made with batiks. We named it because we made it so often for our grown children and their friends when they got married.
October 20th (evening) Monday evening lecture for the Great South Bay Quilters Guild, Long Island, New York. This will be a trunk show of many many quilts made during our 20+ years of collaboration.
